Vom 3. bis 5. November findet Most Wanted: Music (MW:M) als hybride Musikkonferenz sowohl online im Netz als auch offline in Berlin statt.

Die innovative Nutzung und Weiterentwicklung digitaler Tools, der wirtschaftliche Stillstand der Livemusik-Branche und das stetig wachsende Bedürfnis nach distant socialising in Zeiten von social distancing, bilden die Themen-Matrix für die MW:M Convention, die dieses Jahr unter dem Motto #Togetherness steht. Die 7. MW:M bietet interaktive Talks, digitale und analoge Workshops, Performances, Live-Interviews und -Chats sowie interaktive Networking-Formate im Netz, um die weltweite Musikbranche auch in Corona-Zeiten zusammenzubringen.

Den Auftakt der MW:M Convention machen am Abend des 3. November die listen to berlin: Awards, die mutige Ideen, innovative Akteur*innen, sowie Engagement und Haltung in der Musikbranche auszeichnen. Zum Abschluss am 5. November erwartet euch das, worauf in den Monaten der Pandemie lange verzichtet werden musste: Livemusik. MW:M Live präsentiert Auditions von internationalen Newcomer-Acts vor einem geladenen Fachpublikum und für Fans online auf YouTube. Besucher*innen vor Ort sind herzlich willkommen und finden ein sicheres, an alle Notwendigkeiten von Hygiene und Abstand angepasstes Setting vor. Gleichzeitig wird das Konferenzprogramm auf mehreren Kanälen in virtuelle Sphären übertragen.

Most Wanted: Music ist eine Veranstaltung der Berlin Music Commission im Auftrag der Senatsverwaltung für Wirtschaft, Energie und Betriebe.

Most Wanted: Music 2020 – The Hybrid Music Conference

From 3 to 5 November, Most Wanted: Music (MW:M) will take place as a hybrid music conference - both online on the net, and offline in Berlin. The themes of this year’s MW:M convention, which has the motto #Togetherness, include the innovative use and development of digital tools, the economic stagnation of the live music industry, and the growing need for distant socialising in times of social distancing. The 7th edition of MW:M offers interactive talks, digital and analogue workshops, performances, live interviews and chats as well as online interactive networking formats to bring the worldwide music industry together even in the time of coronavirus.

The MW:M Convention kicks off on the evening of 3 November with the listen to berlin: Awards, which celebrates courageous ideas, innovative players, as well as commitment and attitude in the music industry. At the end of the event on 5 November, there’s a welcome return of something we’ve had to do without during the pandemic: live music. MW:M Live will present auditions of international newcomer acts to an invited audience of industry experts, and for fans watching online on YouTube. Visitors on site are warmly welcome and will find a safe setting, adapted to all necessary hygiene and distance standards. The MW:M conference itself will also be live streamed via several online channels.
